Christmas

Merry Christmas.

As I continue to stay positive, even in these dark times, I find myself in a new place — unemployed. i lost my job recently and its not fun. At all. There are two things I hate; moving and looking for a job. These are tough economic times, and its the holidays. Who is hiring out there? Nobody.

As long as I keep Christ in my heart, I have faith that I will find a job.

As I sit here, in this slow falling rain,
I remember how you made me feel – like

All of that is gone now.

I moved on;

Following the night of darkness and dancing.
There was nothing left.

Except the memories…

Decisions, Decisions.

2011 has been an interesting year thus far. I won’t go into details, but certain hurdles have been in my way of progress.  My vehicle (2006 Hyundai Sonata) named Gina, needs two new shoes.  At my job, I have a new supervisor.  Luckily the company I work for hired from within.  With a new year comes new responsibility.  Do I have too much on my plate on a daily basis? Quite possibly.

In the past I have overcome obstacles with ease.  Not so much in the present.  As I grow older and more mature, I have realized that juggling 5-6 tasks on a daily basis is not always wise.  God puts obstacles in front of us to make us better men/women.  Therefore, in the next few weeks I might have to reevaluate (AGAIN) my priorities and make important life decisions.

Im bumping this in my headphones.. As I reflect on today’s events, I still need to learn some things. 

DO NOT drink and drive

DO NOT deal with youngins.

DO NOT do favors for people who are not appreciative.

DO NOT eat a hot ass mutha-fukin pepper with mixed nuts.

Anyway, I must accept that I am 26;  but 27 in 2 weeks.  I am old, but I am still young.  I am wise, but not THAT wise. 

I need to lose 10 lbs before xmas. I know it can be done, but I REALLY need to cut bread and beer. Period.

My First Time

This is new to me, so please be patient. I am going on a date this evening with young lady to watch RED. Hopefully I will have a good time. I really wanted to see The Social Network (again), but maybe next time.
